First book of the Eternal Wolf Clan Series

Main Character: Rifter

Who You’ll Meet:

Rifter is the head of the Dire Wolf pack, a dreamcatcher who was captured and tortured by the weretrappers months earlier.

Gwen – Harm’s daughter. Half human / half Dire. Her mother died in childbirth and she was raised by an aunt and uncle who had no idea of her ancestry. When Gwen was sixteen, her home was burned to the ground, killing her aunt and uncle. At the time, she is unaware that it was the work of weretrappers, who discovered her lineage and who’ve been searching for her ever since. They nearly catch her six months before the story opens, but Harm puts Rifter and Rogue on their radar instead, saving her life.

Jinx & Rogue are twins and Dire wolves – Jinx can talk to ghosts, his twin, Rogue, talks to spirits. Jinx can see/ talk to ghosts (dead who haven’t passed over to the other side), Rogue, spirits (those who have passed over.)

Harm is a Dire who’s music can influence, soothe and calm. But he’s selfish and deserts his pack for his own pure pleasure – he loses his way but in the end, redeems himself. Harm is a singer – his singing can both calm (hypnotize) and incite a riot. He’s a great orator, people love him, and if he simply sings without using his ability, nothing happens. Otherwise, he’s a magnetic, charming, rock star. He’s always related more to humans, wants to be with them, walks easily away from the wolf pack.

Cain and Cyd – young Were twins, thrown out of their pack during their moon craze. Jinx has taken them under his wing.

Liam: Were. Linus’s son – next in line to become King of the Weres – as well as pack leader of the Manhattan pack.

Seb: An Adept – Master Witch. Once he was one of Rifter’s best friends. Currently, he’s working for the weretrappers.

Weretrappers are a paramilitary group of humans. Their purpose has evolved over the years. At first, they were a tight knit group intent on keeping humans safe from wolves. Over time, they began to realize the power they could have if they were able to harness the power of the Weres. They capture the wolves and experiment with ways to keep them under their control. They also create a pact with the witches, realizing they will need more supernatural help in order to gain domination over humans. Their goal is ultimate power and world domination.

The Elders are a mythical group of otherwordly spirit Dire wolves responsible for monitoring the Dires and the Weres, and also responsible for meting out justice to both populations when necessary – for example, during The Extinction in which the majority of the Dire Wolf population was killed. The Dire wolves were created by Hati, a god who chases the moon.
