– 1:15 − 2:15 – Panel: LGBTQ: Beyond the Pronouns: Why LGBTQ Romance May Be Your New Favorite Genre
Join some of the genre’s favorite authors to explore the many types of romance that fall under the LGBTQ umbrella—from sexuality (m/m, lesbian, ménage) to gender (trans, queer, questioning) to tropes (Gay For You, coming out, historical concerns)—and how they’re popping up in the most unexpected places.

– 2:30-3:30 PM- Panel: Double Trouble: Writing With a Partner
We all have the image of the lonely writer, typing away on their computer in some dark, isolated room. But what if you prefer to share the experience? There are unique rewards and challenges for writers who collaborate. How do you team up without wanting to choke your partner? How do you share two ideas and mold them into one? How do you surrender some of yourself? And more importantly, is it worth it? We think so, and we’ll teach you the tricks of writing with a partner because we’ve all done it. Some of us are even married to our partners. But even if you’re not interested in writing with someone, it is essential that all writers learn to collaborate. All of us have to deal with readers, editors, proofreaders, etc. And even beyond that, successful collaboration skills are a major key to success in life. Join us and learn our secrets!

So, I’ve got another name, besides Tyler and Croft 🙂 And I’ll be at RT as…all of them! It’s been a wild and fun ride and I’m thrilled to find out that I’ve got a lot of readers who’ve actually been reading all the names without realizing it. Very cool!
What does this mean for Tyler? Well, it’s really just business as usual around here. The Vipers MC books and the SE Jakes Havoc MC books will be sharing an overreaching universe (ie, I’ll be mentioning the Tyler MC in the Jakes books), but there’s no crossover storylines in the books (which means you won’t be missing any of the Vipers story if you only read the Tyler books and vice-versa). But if you’re interested in what SE Jakes has to offer, you can check out SEJakes.com. And Sydney Croft will also be writing a novella for Riptide’s Charity Antho this year, which comes out in November.
In other non-book news, I just saw Dr. Oz taking about alternative remedies for migraines – he mentioned a homeopathic med called Feverfew – anyone ever taken it with any success? I’m thinking of trying it because, hey, why not? Especially since this migraine has been here since, oh Tuesday. I swear, it’s going to snow – I don’t care what the weather people say – this is a snowgraine for sure.
Okay, back to typing in the 25 longhand pages of Unbreakable (the new Section 8 romantic suspense I’m working on). And I should have some news on the Reid/ Grier book soon as well!
Oh, and if you’re on Pinterest, come friend me! It’s my newest addiction :0
Okay, a few updates before I head back to the deadline cave where I resided for the better half of the last year 🙂 It’s likely not to change, which is a very, very good thing.
Obviously, my website has been revamped – it’s it gorgeous?! Waxcreative, as always, exceeded my expectations! So now it reflected the wolf as well as the romantic suspenses and I think it ties in so well.
So, upcoming – and SOON – is the prequel to the Eternal Wolf Clan series – Dire Warning! It releases February 7th and then Dire Needs: Book 1 in the EWC series comes out March 6th!
For those who’ve been asking about poor Reid and Grier from Night Moves, yes, I totally plan to do something for them before the new suspense series begins in 2013 – I promise to keep you posted!
Other than that, I’m diving into the first of the new romantic suspense series – the book is currently titled Unbreakable and the series is called Section 8. I just handed in book 2 in the Eternal Wolf Clan series and I’m getting ready for a blog tour for the upcoming releases. And, I’m also going to try to blog here more.
Stop laughing. Just keep staring at Rifter over there on the left. And I’ll update here for the blog tour because there will be giveaways along the way! Hope everyone’s doing well and having a good start to 2012 – we had our first dusting of snow last night so it’s finally starting to feel like winter. I like winter. Probably because I commute from the bedroom to the kitchen and back…
I can barely keep up with everything going on. If I owe you a contest prize or anything, please be patient – I’m drowning over here! Hoping to get to the post office this weekend! *fingers crossed*
In the meantime, let me catch you up on giveaways and releases:
