WORD challenge: 20 pages over 3 days…which makes 25 pages not entered into the WIP and 10 entered for a grand total of 30 pages. typing.gif

Now for the real challenge – fitting my new scenes into the manuscript. Did I mention that I don’t write in order? That I pull scenes out of nowhere and then beat myself over the head until I realize that it will all gel together eventually. I’ll probably get rid of at least 10 of the pages I wrote, but that’s to be expected…the point of this challenge is to bring home the fact that you just need to write, even if you think it’s crap and even if it turns out to be crap. And that’s a perfect opening for my quote of the day (did I mention I love quotations?):

Write even when you don’t want to, don’t much like what you are writing, and aren’t writing particularly well. – Agatha Christie

Not sure where the week is going, but I feel like I’ve been trying to catch up with everything the whole time. Anyway – here’s some inspiration for all of us in the form of a Nora Roberts article in Forbes magazine. The article might take a little while to load but it’s interesting.
