First, I can’t thank all of you enough for all the great feedback I’m getting about IN THE AIR TONIGHT (it released Tuesday – you can get more info about the book here!) I’m so glad so many people are loving Mace and Paige

Yes, I realize it’s been a million years since I’ve been here – deadlines got me for most of January but I knew you’d all understand. Promise to be back soon! But here’s a drive-by, since I have several things due by the 15th and must get cracking…

Code Word: Storm was an ACRO short story in The Mammoth Book of Special Ops that came out in May 2010. It’s a Sydney Croft (aka me and Larissa Ione) story featuring Creed and Annika, set between Riding the Storm and Unleashing the Storm. And now, it’s going to be available for you to purchase as a stand-alone eBook to have alongside your other ACRO books! And, to make it even better, it will be packaged together with Shiloh Walker‘s short story, Don’t Walk Away, from the same Mammoth Book!

We’re really excited to package these rereleases together – we don’t have an exact release date yet (we’re doing this ourselves, but it won’t be too much longer ) and it’ll be up on Amazon and B&N and other eBook sites.

Anyway, isn’t the cover we had made beautiful?! I love it! I’ll keep you guys apprised of the details as soon as we solidify everything.

Sydney Croft’s Riding the Storm has a pretty new Japanese edition that arrived at my door early yesterday evening.

It was such a nice surprise (not that I wasn’t expecting the UPS man because, hi, he’s here daily thanks to Amazon) but I didn’t think this was being published until 2010.

Unleashing the Storm will also be translated – I’m can’t wait to see that cover too!

Sydney also got (I have no idea why I’m speaking of Syd like she’s another person – I like to pretend she is sometimes, though, especially when there’s a lot of writing to be done) a very beautiful brand new cover for TEMPTING THE FIRE which comes out August 2010. And no, I can’t show you yet. Soon, very soon, I promise, but it’s probably my favorite of all the covers. If not, it ties with Seduced by the Storm, which is my hands-down favorite cover. Or was, until I saw TEMPTING’s cover.

The jpgs of these books do not do the covers justice – all the writing is raised and the print is neon – HARD TO HOLD is neon orange, TOO HOT TO HOLD is neon-yellow and HOLD ON TIGHT is neon pink and they look so cool all together. Waxcreative played with the jpgs a little so you could get more of a feel of how bright and eye-catching the lettering is.

Welcome to the new site! I just adore it – and everyone at Waxcreative – for doing such an awesome job! It’s everything I wanted and I love the new look and I’m so excited to finally share it with you all.

I’m also excited to share the covers for Hard To Hold (aka Jake’s book) and Too Hot To Hold (Nick’s Book). And yes, I know they’re up on the site already but that doesn’t mean I won’t show them off here too. Chris’s cover is done except for tagline and quotes, and I’ll be able to show Hold on Tight soon. For now, you’ll have to content yourself with these two.

So, I still haven’t keyed in any longhand stuff into the computer – instead, I wrote 10 more pages by hand. *sighs*

In doing some procrastinating research, I came on this really cool list compiled by readers of Romantic Times Magazine – I’ve seen it listed under a few different titles, like the 1001 Best Romances or the 1001 Romance to read before you die…and Coming Undone is on it!!! OMG – that was really awesome to see – my very first book on a list like that.

And speaking of the Blazes, there’s a great offer on eHarlequin for an Ebook copy of Beyond His Control, bundled together with a Leslie Kelly and a Tori Carrington story – they’re calling it the Best of Blaze 2008.

Oh, and Risking It All has an Italian translation now as well – look at the pretty cover!!

This was cool to find – Coming Undone on HQ Italy:

I hope I get an actually copy of the book – that’s always a crapshoot. I got sent a copy of the German edition but not the HQ Brasil copy of Risking It All. And I want them all, you know?

So, let’s see what else. Oh, I had author photos done today – it wasn’t as bad as I thought (have I mentioned that I hate having pictures taken? In family vacation photos, you’ll find tons of Lily and Zoo and Gus, but none of me. *shudders*) And the photographer was fantastic – she came to the house and she made it really fun. And my friend – and fabulous professional make-up artist – was on-hand. Once she gets her website up *hint, MaryBeth!* I’ll post a link for those of you who live in my area. I can’t recommend her enough – or, after today, Susan Woog Wagner.

Gus, of course, posed like a champ. Maybe I can get him hired out for commercials, since I’m always telling him he really needs to get to work. I’ll post some of the choices of pictures as soon as I can – they’re mainly for my media kit and my new website from Waxcreative, which I can’t wait for!

Now, I’m exhausted. And have much writing to do before I sleep. And the Real Housewives of Orange County is on…after American Idol. And the Rock of Love Bus episode I missed is on now. Damn that TV…
