Somehow I don't see that as a best seller. Besides, there wouldn't be enough of a happy ending for my taste. Well, I guess it would have more than if I killed everybody. *g*

Jen X -

Gabe is awesome! The sleeping around stuff doesn't bother me either because I just know he's going to fall so hard when he finally does. I mean, I feel like he does from the first scene, so I'm dying to watch the rest of it unfold.

And yes, waving from rain / wind hell in New York. It's scary out there...stay inside!

OMG - Pamela Clare fangirl moment!!!

Okay, I'll stop before I embarrass myself :) I love your books - and I think NE is going to be my favorite. I just love the Native American backstory / legends (I can't think of the right word) woven in - it's simply beautiful.

And the pic is from last month - snow has melted here and we're in the middle of a NorEaster. At this point, my yard work will require a forklift.

Dog is a he - his name is Gus and he's a weimaraner :)

The expression always makes me think of Amy Knupp - she's said, sleep is for the weak...and I am very weak...

Maybe you've got an idea for a new genre...only one person in my books makes it out alive...it would keep people guessing.

Lea, I don't either, but I can get away with it since I'm home. Honestly, if I had to function in the real world on a daily basis, I'd be in trouble, because I'm up so much at night, b/w the kid and the dog and stuff.

I think you'll like the Frost books...I like the heroine a lot and that's always the key for me with first person, you know? If I don't like the heroine in a 3rd person, but I like the hero, I'm okay, but first person is so different...

I didn't even check to see how many books were in the series...and I saw she has a different one. I hope that means that somewhere, Bones and Cat get their HEA...

I think Scrivner's pretty stable b/c the Mac is stable, you know?

What I like with the multiple exports is that I have the different versions of the book, so if I change a scene around and it ends up not working, I have the old version.

But you're an out of order writer like me, right? Scrivener is like heaven for that - (for you PC users, WriteWayPro is a very similar program I loved when I used a PC)

I'm so happy my desktop is basically crawling toward a slow death. I can't stand it, and the iMac is in the box just waiting until this storm is over to go to its new home on the desk. Oh, and maybe you can convince your husband if you show him things like neat receipts for mac - it can help your office become paperless by scanning in invoices and business cards and stuff. The program that comes with it makes getting taxes ready really easy.

I need to get in the habit of doing that. On the Toshiba I emailed the draft to myself at the end of every day, but I haven't been doing that with Scrivener. I need to start because losing a book would kill me.

I'm still amazed by how much I love my Macbook. I hate having to use the PC desktop for our company stuff and I can't wait until my husband gives the thumbs up for an iMac!

Hi Stephanie,

I am reading Naked Edge too!!! I am loving it, about 2/3 done and so antsy, I feel like peeking ahead. Gabe. Even though he is a horn dog (albeit a hot, sexy, gorgeous horn dog) I cannot help but feel tenderness for him.

It's raining cats & dogs in NYC.

(hi Pamela...I am trying to finish so that I can join your chat later! :)

Hi, Stephanie — I hope you enjoy Kat and Gabe's story. I'm so jealous of your snow. We're having spring today in Colorado, and I'm not ready for "yard work season" yet. I love your dog! What breed is s/he?

If sleep is for the weak, I should be the strongest person I know given how little sleep I get. No matter that I'd rather have more.

I'm doing genealogy stuff this weekend. I'm sick to death of the book I'm writing and need a break from it. Either that or I need to kill everyone in it. Taking a break seemed like an easier choice.

Hey Steph;

How are you. LOL I posted about sleep this week, I so don't do well without it.

I'm reading an ARC of Carolyn Crane's, Mind Games right now and it is great. I've heard so many great things about Ms. Frost's books and have them in the stacks.

Gus looks so cute in the snow.

Best
