(Because who doesn’t love a list?)
1. Check out the brand new sneak peek for HOLD ON TIGHT (aka Chris’s book) which releases on January 26, 2010.
2. I am now following Chip Coffey on Twitter. Awesome!
3. Sons of Anarchy 90 minute episode tonight. (I also follow Kurt Sutter on Twitter)
4. HARD TO HOLD releases in 13 days!
5. I have a case of Diet Dr. Pepper. (it’s the little things)
6. For Nano-ish – I need 3K today. I need 5K but would take 3K. It’s been days of, working / writing all day only to have word count remain the same – this happens when I have to put the mess together, revise scenes / rewrite, etc. So in the end, it’ll be a stronger mess but I really like to see the word count piling up. That should start to happen now.
7. HARD TO HOLD releases in 13 days! (can’t say this one enough)
8. I was informed that the Hold trilogy sold to Germany! Gus is taking credit for this, since he is of German descent, as is Zoo.
9. This prompts my mother to ask why my 3rd Blaze has not sold to Italy yet when the first two did. Do you want me to call them, she asks. Um, no. Please. The episode where Marie (from Everybody Loves Raymond) calls the FBI about Robbie’s job springs to mind.
10. HARD TO HOLD. 13 days. Panic begins to set in…(did I tell you that when my mom offered to let a relative know when the book hit stores, the relative said, ah, it’s okay – we’re not big readers.) Dude, seriously, you cannot make this stuff up.

*happy sigh* My darling, darling Saint.
I’m sorry, did you say something else, Steph?
LMAO!!!
Saint. *sighs*
Hey Stephanie! Guess what? Hard To Hold comes out in 13 days! *g*
13 days, 2 hours, 39 minutes…but I’m not really counting…*g*
Only 13 more days, hehe
omg, your mother sounds like a hoot, lol
I hope you at least got your 3k if not 5k.
Ali, I got slightly distracted today…am hoping the words flow now. How are you doing with Nano?
NaNoWriMo is coming along slowly but surely… got a little back-tracked with headaches and issues at work, but I’m hoping to make it up this week, if not next. I believe I have all of next week off, so I’m hoping to get a lot of work done
How are you doing?
Diet Dr. Pepper? Not Diet Coke? Et tu?
Oh, I haven’t forsaken Diet Coke – but every once in a while, I go on a Diet Dr Pepper binge – it’s like a snack in a can…
I was concerned… heh.
I have been looking forward to this series. I’ve had a couple of those mom moments too.
Dr. Pepper is yummm! Going to be switching to diet sigh. I love the real stuff.
I. can’t. wait. for these books!! Just sayin! LOL!
I look forward to reading your Hold series, Stephanie! While the Too Hot To Hold cover pops in that orange, the Hold on Tight cover is absolutely beautiful! Who knew a guy could look so good in purple?
You’re supposed to say, “Jake’s book! Jake’s book! Jaaaaakkkkke!” Man, I can’t wait to see that troublemaker get his. *gggg*
These books look HOTT!!! I love the Hold on Tight cover. I would have to say it is my favorite of all three, course pink and purple are my favorite colors so that may have affected my decision. All the guys are hot.
Patty
Diet Dr. Pepper is great stuff but so is the cover of Hard to Hold!
Stephanie, love all the covers however the “Too Hot To Hold” cover is warm and inviting and so is the models pic used for the book so have to say it is my favorite of the 3….
Dr. Pepper, that is my favorite thing to drink but regular no diet for me….
13 day countdown for Hard to Hold, hope the time goes fast for you…..

IDK what it is but I want to run my hands over that glistening bare chest on HOLD ON TIGHT.
Absolutely love all the covers; but to chose one: HARD TO HOLD. That t-shirt did it. I cannot resist a Navy Seal. Purrrr.
All the covers are fabulous, but Hard To Hold is my favorite. One reason why: Jake! }:)
Hi Stephanie!
All the covers are hot, but I have to say by far Hard To Hold. Something about that dark sexy look! A sucker for the brooding man! Congrats on the new release, I can’t wait! And the sell to Germany!!
Brande
Okay, my favorite cover has got to be Chris’, Hold on Tight. C’mon, he’s shirtless… what more can I ask for? hehe
Ok, I have to say this,
Dr. Pepper, yes, but not diet! Unless it’s washing down a Carmello!
And the cover of “Too Hot To Hold”, oh baby!
i love the purple background my fav color
hold on tight
congrats non the books and great reviews
All of your covers for the “Hold” series are awesome, but there’s something about that purple one for Hold on Tight (could it be that sexy bare chest?) that I really like. I haven’t had a chance to read any of the series yet, but I’m planning on correcting that soon.
Glad to see you enjoy a great drink – Dr Pepper is my fav, especially Cherry Vanilla, yum (and yes, Diet all the way).
Lt. Jake Hansen makes me weak in the knees and other spots just looking at the front cover. I cannot wait to read Hard to Hold. I love the purple cover for Hold on Tight, for the colour, but it’s definitely the blue cover for me with that gorgeous man on the front! I admit I have never read your books, Stephanie, and I haven’t read any Sydney Croft yet either. I only recently discovered Larissa this past summer and am now a firm fan. I can’t wait to get started on your new series AND on all the Sydney Croft I’ve missed. Good luck with the new series!
Too Hot to Hold is my favorite cover..
I have to say I’ve been waiting all summer for Hard to Hold!! I can hardly wait..
Hey Everyone!!! Thanks so much for stopping by and saying hi and letting me know your fav cover (and that you like Dr. Pepper;) These will all be counted in Larissa’s contest (OMG – wasn’t she awesome to do that?!?) even when I put a new post up over this!
I swear, Diet Dr. Pepper tastes like regular – and I know that’s not true of other diet sodas. But now I want a caramello…and I want to run my hands down Chris’s chest. I swear, the power of suggestion….
For the record, Jake’s cover is my favorite, but I think that’s because, well, it’s JAKE!!!!!!!! They’re all pretty awesome, especially in person – the pictures do not do them justice.
Ohhh are you saying you got to see these guys in person???? You are so lucky! Do you get to pick them out yourself for your covers? I never really thought about how covers are picked for books. I guess I thought maybe covers were chosen for you by the publisher or something.
No, I actually didn’t meet them – but there’s an article on my site about the real guy behind the Beyond His Control cover.
Sometimes authors do get either a photo shoot for their cover (Larissa’s had those for all hers) and the bigger authors get to be there and meet the guys! I’m VERY lucky to have been able to give some input on the covers, but it was minor because honestly, Bantam Dell’s art dep’t does an amazing job – I’m really lucky. I don’t know how they found these guys who ‘look’ the way the characters do in my imagination….
The Hold on Tight cover is my favorite…
Hard to Hold is my favorite cover! WOWZA!
Hard to Hold is my favorite cover!
Hard to Hold definitely the best cover. I would read them all based on that one! Can’t wait to start the series and check out your books. Here’s to a super speedy 13 days!
Hard to Hold is definitely ma favourite! Those eyes and that jaw… yummy!
I’ll definitely have to pick up that series.
I like all the covers but I especially like the cover for To Hot To Hold.
I’m soo excited for your release!!
LOL! We are HUGE SOA fans also. Thank God for hulu!
Seriously, you have people in your family who need mental health help if they don’t read!!
Hold on Tight is my fav cover!!
PS- I LOVE your list. I am such a list girl myself.
I have yet to watch Sons of Anarchy, but I’e heard its very good! And I love love love the cover to Hold on Tight!
I think my favorite is the Hard to Hold cover–the model looks so incredibly intense! And how awesome that you’ve gotten to see them all in person! Woohoo, indeed!
My fave cover is Hold on Tight *sigh*…totally gorgeous!
Sons of Anarchy is really such a well crafted show – I encourage those of you who haven’t watched to catch it in reruns or grab the DVD.
I think it’s SO funny how many people love Hold on Tight – I lost sleep over the pink in that cover, which goes to show what I know
Thanks so much to everyone who’s commented – and for everyone who said they’re excited about the series – means a lot!!!
And Emily, I’m so with you on the reading – I’ve never understood people who say they don’t read….blows my mind.
